Payne's abusive past raises a barrier in his relationship with Braxton, but they love each other enough to work around it. When they meet Flame, a solution to their problem might be at hand.
While the path to love is never smooth, three men prove harder to balance than two and Flame isn't sure if he's ready to be part of a trio. But Brax and Payne are determined to make Flame part of their family and the combined power of men in love won't be denied… even when death tries to knock on their door.
After two life-altering events, Payne realizes in order to keep the happiness he’s found, he can’t let the past rule control his future.

REVIEW:

It is amazing that after so many months, I am just now getting around to reading a book by the incredibly talented Amber Kell.  This is one of those books that just falls into your lap one day and you look at the cover and just can’t resist.  I’m glad I did because I had a great time with Brax, Payne and Flame.  I have to admit though, those name are something else.
I’m partial to Payne myself, as are his mates in this ménage novel, a type of romance I’m not normally drawn to being an old fashioned romance kind of guy.  Well, old fashioned gay romance anyway.
Payne is an emotionally damaged man and Brax is there for him in every way to make sure he is loved and protected, and as much as Payne will allow, spoiled.  When the two lovers meet metal working artist Flame both of them are awe struck by his beauty and creativity and he is scared to death of commitment and of damaging what he sees as the perfect relationship between the two men.
Can love and sex really work in a permanent three way arrangement?  I believe that Brax, Payne and Flame are just the right three to figure that out.
The sex is hot, spare and well handled.  The drama and plot is solid and the characterization is what readers have come to expect from this widely written, talented author.  Pick this one up with confidence and have a good evening’s read for it is a tad short at less than 100 pages but the story does fit well with the word count.
