BLURB:
Nate Francis had never been interested in sex or
girlfriends and he never asked himself why. All he knows is that the idea of
sleeping with a woman doesn't appeal to him. Only when he finds himself jacking
off in the company of his best friend, Jake, does he start to feel anything
sexual.
When his parents go away for two weeks, Jake asks
Nate to stay with him. In doing so he allows himself to masturbate in front of
the man. But once his friend goes into the bathroom to clean up, he finds a gay
erotic magazine in his best friend’s bag. Confronting the man about it proves
to be tempting fate as the two realize they have been harboring feelings for
one another for weeks now.
As the two discover the wonders of gay sex together,
their feelings toward one another grow. But can two twenty-one-year-olds find a
forever in their best friend? What happens if they both want different things?
Can the two make it work, or will they lose a best
friend?
REVIEW:
This is my first review of a Siren/Bookstrand title
because it is the first short series book I have really found enjoyable and a
lot of that is because the editing is far above what is found in the average
Siren title. There are a few spelling
goofs, extra or missing words and such but they are few and far between.
This is a novel about two best friends who, after
knowing each other forever up and decide to go gay for each other after a
mutual jack off session in their private place, a shack out in the woods. Okay the plot is interesting. It read more like the guys should have been
18 year old high school seniors rather than 21 year old college students. That was my only complaint with the whole
thing. They didn’t really act their age
and their families didn’t treat them as if they were 21 which leads me to
believe Ms Shaw aged the two boys up a few years to meet Siren’s age
requirements for characters in sexual relationships.
They are in a sexual relationship too, no doubt
about it. This book is graphic in its
sexual detail and very arousing if I do say so myself. This is a quickie read with lots of sex, not
a deep emotional love story so go into in knowing that and you will have a
great time.
Another candid and concise review without so much detail that I feel as though I no longer need to read the story in question--thanks!
